Friday, April 6, 2012, day three of a nine mile march to Save John Marshall High School, Veteran’s Memorial (Detroit- Superior) Bridge: Satinder S. Puri leads a march from John Marshall High School, 3952 W. 140th, to Cleveland City Hall. He hopes to convince Mayor Frank Jackson to reverse the decision to demolish the historic John Marshall High School. In January, the Cleveland Landmarks Commission stripped the John Marshall High School Building of its historic landmark status to make way for the demolition. John Marshall, was built in 1932, and designed by architect George M. Hopkinson – the same architect that designed John Hay and Rhodes High Schools.
