Sunday, April 6, 2014; Race to the MAX, Max Hayes High School, 4600 Detroit Avenue: Curt Bachus, age 48, finishes first in the 5k (3.1 mile race) with a time of 17 minutes and 21 seconds. Runners traversed a route from the current Max Hayes High School to the site the New Max Hayes at W. 65th and Walworth. Proceeds from the race benefit the WIRE-Net Youth Programs at Max Hayes.
