(Plain Press, May 2014) Stockyard Clark Fulton Brooklyn Centre (SCFBC) Program Director Megan Meister will be leaving the organization on May 2nd to take a community based position at Detroit Shoreway Community Development Organization Executive Director Jeff Ramsey made the announcement in an April 24th email to friends of the Stockyard Clark Fulton Brooklyn Centre Community Development Office. Ramsey said, “Megan will be working to develop opportunities for engagement/outreach, community programming and creating collaborations that support the health and well-being for people of all ages.”
Ramsey said he wishes Megan Meister well in her new position and noted her ten years of service to the Stockyard neighborhood and her service as program director at SCFBC since its opening four years ago. “She has been a champion for the neighborhoods and an invaluable part of SCFBD’s development into a first-class Community Development Organization,” said Ramsey.
Friends of Stockyard Clark Fulton Brooklyn Centre are invited to Los Dos Fronteras, 3292 Fulton Rd, on Thursday, May 1 at 5 p.m. for a celebration of Megan Meister’s outstanding service to the community and to wish her well in her new position at Neighborhood Family Practice.
