Cleveland Craft Bazaar: Button Down Designs

PHOTO BY DEBBIE SADLON Saturday, December 12, 2015; Cleveland Craft Bazaar at W. 78th Street Studios: Emilie Collens Illson of Button Down Designs is sewing together a bracelet using buttons from her vast collection which features antique buttons from the 1840s through the 1940s. Illson’s work is carried in two national museum shops: the Museum of American Folk Art in New York City and the Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington D.C. Illson, whose shop is in Rocky River, Ohio, says this marks the eighth year she has participated in the Cleveland Craft Bazaar.
