November 4th General Election voting and ballot information

   (Plain Press October 2025) In the November 4th General Election, registered voters in Cleveland will have a chance to weigh in on four races for Municipal Court Judges, the mayoral contest and in City Council races. Residents in Ward 7, Precinct I, in Ward 12, Precinct G, and Ward 13, Precinct Q, will also have a chance to vote on Liquor Options.

   If you are not registered to vote, you must fill out and submit your voter registration form by mail or in person to the Board of Elections by October 6, 2025, to vote in the November 4th General Election. The Board of Elections’ new address is 1803 Superior Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44114.

   Voters have the option of voting by mail or at the polls on Election Day from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., early voting in person at the Board of Elections beginning on October 7th.

   Vote by mail applications will be available beginning on October 7, 2025. Vote by mail applications must be requested from the Board of Elections or printed from their website, filled out and turned in. The applications are due at the Board of Elections by October 28th by 8:30 p.m.

   Registered voters choosing to vote in person at the polls or the Board of Elections will need one of the following forms of photo identification: an Ohio driver’s license, an Ohio State ID card, an interim identification card issued by the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles, a U.S. passport or passport card, or a U.S. military ID card, Ohio National Guard ID card, or a U.S. Veterans Affairs ID card that includes the voter’s name and photograph.

   Registered voters choosing to vote by mail must provide one of the following forms of ID: the last four digits of their Social Security number, an Ohio Driver’s License, an Ohio State ID card, a copy of a passport, including the identification page, or a copy of the front and back of the various IDs used for in person voting.

   To find your voting location visit the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections website at boe.cuyahogacounty.gov and click on Get Your Voting Information or Find Voting Information by Address.

   Below are candidates and issues that will appear on the ballots in City Council wards served by the Plain Press. Sample ballots will also be available on the Board of Elections website 45 days before the November election.
