(Plain Press November 2026) Issue 10, the Cuyahoga County Developmental Disabilities Levy and Issue 11, the Cuyahoga County Health and Human Services Levy will appear on the November 3, 2026 ballot.

Issue 10 would generate an additional $94.5 million annually to help maintain services for approximately 15,000 Cuyahoga County residents with developmental disabilities by funding essential services provided through the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities, including early intervention, case management, employment support, behavioral services, housing assistance, therapies, and family support programs. Advocates emphasize that passage of the levy is critical as costs continue to rise and the number of residents needing services grows.

NEWS ANALYSIS

Issue 11, if approved, the levy would generate approximately $110.76 million annually beginning in 2027. If the levy does not pass then there will be significant Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) cuts and major reductions in services for children, families, older adults, behavioral health consumers, and other vulnerable residents.

Without voter approval, significant service cuts are expected after years of deficit spending and declining resources. Northern Ohioans for Budget Legislation Equality (NOBLE) urges all voters to vote in FAVOR of Issues 10 and 11. For more information, please email: [email protected].
