Saturday, February 28, 2015; Near West Theatre Community Open House, 6702 Detroit Avenue: Nicholas Maistros, age 3, equipped with a hat from the prop box, acts on the new stage while speakers talk about what the new building will mean for Near West Theatre. Near West Theatre Executive Director Stephanie Morrison-Hrbek says now that Near West Theatre has a space of their own, she hopes to secure funding for new programs including programming for preschool age children.
