To the Editor:
(Plain Press, March 2017) I attended the discussion at the Black and Blue Side By Side exhibit which you pictured in the February 2017 Volume 44 edition of the Plain Press. Portraying black male subjects with police officers seems to be an attempt to gloss over the many instances of the crimes of racial profiling and killing of blacks by Cleveland Police over many decades.
As a white male, I am offended by these photographs and question the purpose of this exhibit. Photographed today – profiled tomorrow. What’s the point?
