Seltzer School, 1468 W. 98th Street: Children mix up their own granola using oats, peanut butter, honey and chocolate chips. The Love Yourself Program is a girls’ empowerment program held after school, four days a week at Marion Seltzer. Twenty-five girls from 2nd through 8th grade participate in the program. Love Yourself is run by Marion Seltzer Cafeteria Manager Ethel Hicks, who was recently recognized by the Cleveland Metropolitan School District as Operations Employee of the Year for her work with the group.
