St. Ignatius High School to create Welsh Academy Middle School

Saturday, December 8th; 1946 W.32ndStreet: This building, which once served as San Juan Bautista Roman Catholic Church and before that as the West Side Hungarian Reformed Church, is being prepared to serve as Welsh Academy, a middle school for boys run by St. Ignatius High School. An article by Tim Zvoncheck titled “Welsh Academy preparing to serve Cleveland’s youth” in the November 20thissue of the St. Ignatius student newspaper, The Eye, says the school slated to open in August of 2020 will serve middle school students recruited from Cleveland Metropolitan School District K-8 schools.
