Saturday, December 8, 2018; W. 65thStreet between Clark and Storer: The demolition of the Swift and Company meatpacking building which began in March of 2018 nears completion. The building was one of many Stockyard area meatpacking and slaughterhouse businesses. Swift and Company ceased operation at the facility in the early 1960s.
