A complete and accurate count is essential to the well-being of our communities as it directs how many congressional districts each state receives and determines how critical federal funds like Community Development Block Grants are to be distributed.
All residents, citizen or not should be filling out the form. We have heard many times from the Census Bureau that our personal information is PRIVATE and will not be passed on to ICE or any other government organization. Information will only be passed on in the aggregate with no names or address attached.
We must all be counted. We must do everything we can to be sure that our friends, family members and others in our network and communities get the word and be encouraged to respond ASAP.
Like voting, this is another way that our voices can be heard!
Northern Ohioans for Budget Legislation Equality (NOBLE) urges you to please dig out that mailing now and get online today! For more information on the Census visit https://2020census.gov or census.ohio.gov. EVERYONE COUNTS! BE COUNTED, ANSWER THE 2020 CENSUS!
