ART HOUSE COMMUNITY CAFES: Join us in March for our second session and third sessions in re-envisioning the Art House campus to create an artistically engaging and inspirational environment. QUIRE CLEVELANND will perform Bohemian Treasure: Demantius’ St. John Passion on Friday, March 4th at 7:30 p.m. at St. John Cantius Church in Tremont. Admission is free to all concerts. A freewill offering will be taken.

BLAQUE CLEVELAND: The Galleries at Cleveland State University present the exhibition Blaque Cleveland through March 19th.  Explore landscapes, the human form, collages examining society, and photographs capturing young Black lives from four of Cleveland’s strongest voices in the Black Visual Arts community. Gallery viewing hours. Noon – 5 p.m. Tuesday thru Saturday.  Thursday Night Art Talk: 5-6:30 p.m. on March 3rd with Artist Kiara Booker and on March 17 with Curator Brendan Whitt.

COVID-19 VACCINES

Cleveland’s McCafferty (4242 Lorain Avenue) offers vaccines and boosters on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00am-3:00pm, and Thursdays from 9:00am-6:30pm. You can walk in, or visit gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov or call 216-664-2222 to schedule an appointment.

ENERGY ASSISTANCE

HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE WINTER CRISIS PROGRAMAssistance is available thru March 31st to help with home energy bills thru the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) Winter Crisis Program. The program, administered by CHN Housing Partners helps Ohioans at or below 175% of the federal poverty guidelines pay their heating bills. Ohioans who are threatened with disconnection, have been disconnected from their utility service, are transferring services, establishing new services, at or below 25% fuel, or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 12 months may also be eligible. Cuyahoga County residents can call (216) 350-8008 to make an appointment, or they can schedule an appointment online at www.chn.itfrontdesk.com which is open twenty-four hours each day, seven days each week. Appointments will be conducted by phone or video conference. For more information about the Winter Crisis Program, contact CHN Housing Partners at 216-325-1148. ENVIRONMENT

CELEBRATE WORLD WATER DAY 2022 WITH DRINK LOCAL DRINK TAP: On World Water Day, March 22, 4th to 8th grade students and educators can join Drink Local Drink Tap’s event from anywhere. On-demand virtual exhibits will be available from 9 AM – 3 PM. The live-streamed main event will run from 10:30 -11:30 a.m. and will include a Q & A with the Drink Local Drink Tap team.
