Wednesday, August 31, 2022; St. Rocco Parish, 3205 Fulton Road: A crew of workers demolishes the old St. Rocco School building. The new school is at the rear of the property. Architectural Historian Craig Bobby says the front part of the demolished building served as “St. Rocco Church until they built the one presently in use. The church and school were built as one connected structure in 1926. After building the new church (1949-1952), the old church was converted into a gymnasium.”
