SPECIAL EXHIBIT at the Farrell Foundation’s Center for Artful Living: David Jansheski’s large-scale, wood block and silk-screen prints are featured through November in a special exhibit at the Center for Artful Living, 26633 Detroit Road in Westlake, at the Carolyn L. Farrell Foundation for Brain Health. The Center and the exhibition are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

RECREATION
FREE MONDAYS AT THE ZOO: On Mondays*, the Zoo is FREE for residents of Cuyahoga County and Hinckley Township. To confirm your residency, bring your driver’s license or state I.D. or a current utility bill with your Cuyahoga Cty. or Hinckley Twp. address along with a photo ID.
CANAL BASIN PARK: The trailhead at Canal Basin Park is now open as the Northern Terminus of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail at West Avenue and Columbus Road. Head down to Canal Basin Park today, and you may not recognize the space between the RedLine viaduct and the Detroit Superior Bridge. Over the past year, this area has been transformed into the northern gateway for the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail and the trailhead is now open! Native plants bloom while the remnants of railroad tracks embedded in the landscape remind us of Cleveland’s industrial history.
