To the editor:

   (Plain Press July 2026) In response to Angela Shuckahosee’s letter to the editor in the June issue of the Plain Press titled “Democratic Party Central Committee member reacts to Plain Press primary election coverage,” I would like to point out that Democratic Party Chairman David Brock was given an opportunity to be interviewed for the article “Pre-primary endorsements unfairly influence election results” that appeared in the May 2026 Plain Press.

   David Brock was contacted by email in April for an interview, which he agreed to arrange. He did not. Several more requests were made to interview him. He never responded. I told him that the article would be published regardless of whether he responded.
