(Plain Press August 2026) At its July 15^th meeting, Cleveland City Council approved an ordinance “declaring the City’s intent to begin the process of purchasing, through eminent domain, the former CVS property” located at 10022 Madison Avenue (Madison at West Boulevard) for the purpose of building a new Firehouse 23. Last year residents protested a proposed gas station at the site and suggested that the poor condition of the current Firehouse 23 merited consideration of placing a new firehouse there.
