Repairers of the Breach works to redeem the heart and soul of our country and city

(Plain Press September 2026) Repairers of the Breach is a national organization building a movement rooted in a framework that uplifts our deepest moral, religious, and constitutional values to redeem the heart and soul of our country. We are working for social change and to organize and mobilize around a moral policy agenda that prioritizes love, truth, and justice.

Repairers of the Breach is based out of Washington D.C. but also has a Northeast Ohio Division.

Over the past several months, the Northeast Ohio Division of Repairers of the Breach has held monthly protest gatherings here in Cleveland. Each was done in conjunction with Rev. William Barber’s Moral Monday Concept to maintain focus on the many harmful actions of our current federal administration.

Each protest gathering was held on the 2nd Monday of the Month at noon with the first several done at the Carl B. Stokes courthouse where Senator Bernie Moreno has his local office. We focused on the current illegal war, its impact on many at home and abroad, along with the many problems in areas such as health care, housing and immigration. Each gathering included testimony from someone directly impacted. Each gathering ended with the delivery of a letter stating our concerns to Senator Moreno’s office.

In August we moved to Public Square where after a gathering and words from those impacted, we marched to the Senator Husted’s local office at the Federal Building. After a short gathering there, a letter was delivered to Senator Husted stating our concerns.

We are a diverse group of individuals from across this area, many of whom have been directly affected by the actions of this administration. All are deeply concerned about the future of our country. We plan on continuing these Moral Monday actions on the 2nd Monday of each month. We invite all to join us.
